 FAQs

  • We’re a specialist training provider for those who work with or raise individuals with neurodiverse needs. We transform the lives of children who don’t quite fit the mold society has created by equipping their key adults with knowledge and strategies.

We focus on coming alongside non-profit organisations to help them carry out their mission. We work with a wide variety of youth services, charities, parent groups and schools. We provide seminars, workshops and consultations for staff, volunteers, parents and carers. We’ve developed effective long-term partnerships where we provide support and complement our training with observation and consultation sessions.

Our founder, Rebecca McMaster, is a gifted speaker who has provided keynote addresses and workshops at conferences for educators and youth workers.

  • Pricing for workshops depends upon participant number and duration. Our individual workshops last 2 hours but we provide full and half day of training. Our baselines costs for a 2 hour session begins at £500+VAT for up to 20 participants. You can book a call or email Rebecca directly to discuss training needs. rebecca@edenconsultancyni.com

They’ve found our training and support to be an incredibly effective way of equipping their teams and transforming their communities.

  • Absolutely! Our heart is to support parents and carers by providing key knowledge, effective strategies and new confidence. We do this primarily through group sessions but we also dive deeper into the needs of particular families through our 1 to 1 parent consultations. Check out our parent page to find out more.

  • We always start by working with the key adults of a child. This is the most effective way of transforming the world for that child. However, after we have worked closely with key adults we can absolutely consult and support in home or school settings.

Our Case Studies

  • Holywood Family Trust

Holywood Family Trust has a dedicated team of staff and volunteers experienced in supporting children with Autism or ADHD. We provided extensive training to enhance their abilities, including workshops on Autism, ADHD, emotional support, and discussing sensitive topics. We also focused on staff well-being during child support. Ongoing efforts include workshops for senior youth and creating inclusive spaces within the youth club setting.

  • Mencap

With funding from Mencap several youth organisations in Carrickfergus came together to provide training for their staff. Their shared desire was to provide an inclusive environment for all their youth club attendees. Over two consecutive evenings with provided training on ADHD and Autism. They also had the brilliant idea of supporting these sessions through a question and answer panel where they received feedback from neurodiverse former youth club attendees.

  • Parentline NI

Parentline serve parents and carers across Northern Ireland. Since then we have provided 12 webinars which make effective specialist support accessible across the province. Webinars have been delivered on ADHD, our 4 part Autism series and our popular 4-part ‘Parenting neurodiverse children’ course. We’ve recorded podcasts with Parentline NI which have been a vital resource to many parents, carers and professionals. You can find a link to our podcasts here.

  • Currie Primary School

The dedicated Currie Primary staff aims to impact their students' lives significantly. Initially daunted by the task of preparing their team to aid children with autism, we conducted a comprehensive training morning. This covered diverse presentations of Autism for girls and effective behavior support, fostering valuable discussions and strategy coordination. Subsequently, we furthered Currie Primary's community support with our four-part Autism training program.

  • Tobin Centre

The Tobin Centre in Moortown, Cookstown, approached us to enhance family support. Collaborating on youth club services for children with additional needs, we conducted 20+ training sessions for local parents. Addressing staff needs, we offered guidance on behavior, structure, and routine within the club, resulting in a 6-week customized program, complete with tailored sessions, timetables, and specialized staff training.
