3) Autism: Sensory processing

We all constantly process our surroundings throughout our senses but for some on the Autism spectrum sensory processing can be difficult and even painful at times. It is vital for us to understand how sensory processing can be affected and how we can best help in overstimulating or understimulating environments.

4) Understanding and supporting behaviour

What is behaviour? Why do we see it? What is happening in our brains and bodies when we are finding things difficult? Most importantly, how do we as the adults in children’s lives best support behaviour and create approaches that equip them to help regulate?. This workshop explores all of these topics and much more around behaviour.
